Chinese Qing Dynasty DaoGuang Red and Gold Lotus Blossom Porcelain Bowl. The porcelain potted in a shallow body, slight deep, flaring rim with close mouth rim, raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white color which contrast against red and gold design color, depicted of lotus blossom, Shou Chinese calligraphy surrounded with flying Fu bats and scrolling ruyi. The design is well-proportioned, the clay fine and exquisite, the glaze smooth with a moist appearance, the finishing meticulous. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark. Made in The Years of DaoGuang Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
