A pair of Adidas Crazy 8 Brooklyn Nets limited-edition basketball sneakers (released in February 2015) personally owned, worn, and signed by Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin.

The design features a speckled black upper with a basketball texture synthetic leather, a speckled black midsole, and a white outsole. The shoe also has the Nets logo on the upper tongue, “BROOKLYN” stitched on the lateral ankle, and a fist logo on the back. It also sees a black-embroidered number “8” on the lower tongue – a nod to the jersey number worn by Kobe Bryant. The right sneaker is signed, “C.M.”, with a heart, in gold marker. The shoe was designed exclusively for fans of the Brooklyn Nets and features the same colors that are seen on their away jerseys.

Originally sold as part of a Small Steps Project charity auction in December 2021.
