This impressive and elaborately detailed Balinese painting on raw canvas measures 32"x53". It is stretched on wooden stretcher bars and installed in a silver aluminum frame with clear acrylic glazing to protect the surface. The painting has a dizzying array of characters, arranged in vignettes divided by a snake-work of flames and flowers. It is truly a masterful design, finely executed and in great condition. It is unsigned and appears to date from around 1980-2000. The frame & glazing have some very minor wear. The overall effect is dazzling.
